The Freezepop was born when a friend came into the shop and ordered; “something weird that makes surfing shitty waves fun. Needs to paddle strong and go fast but still able to turn well.” After making a few refinements from it’s original design, here we are. This may be a strange looking shape but it checks all the boxes to make the most out of sub-par conditions. With the wide forward outline, relaxed entry rocker and generous volume in the chest area it allows the board to catch just about anything and generate tons of speed. While the pulled in tail, refined rail and moderate tail rocker combat the added surface area in the forward part of the board making it surprisingly responsive through turns.
